Information on the European Parliament
The European Parliament has an office in London, which has its own website. One of the first tasks of the 1999-2004 Parliament was to approve the new European Commission led by Commission President, Romano Prodi. For the first time, the new commissioners were subjected to serious scrutiny, and following their approval the Parliament has greater powers than before to tackle corruption or incompetence in the Commission. Here, you can visit the website of the Prodi Commission. Back to Andrew Duff in the European Parliament.
