ELDR, the European Liberal Democrats is the European Party to which the UK Liberal Democrats belong.

The President of the European Parliament is Pat Cox MEP from Ireland, who is a member of the ELDR group, while the party president is Uffe Elleman-Jensen, the former Danish Foreign Minister.

Graham Watson MEP is leader of the ELDR group in the European Parliament. Diana Wallis MEP leads the British Delegation known as LDEPP (Liberal Democrat European Parliamentary Party). LDEPP is the largest group within the ELDR in the European Parliament.

Andrew is Vice-President of the European Parliament delegation to the Constitutional Convention on the Future of Europe.
