* EU Tackles Football Hooliganism. Liberal Democrat Euro-MPs have supported an initiative by the Belgian government to improve cross-border communication between EU countries on troublemakers that may threaten security at international football matches. Local Euro-MP/local campaigner XY said "Truly coherent police co-operation across Europe as well as good policing on the ground is the only way to fight the kind of hooliganism that has so tarnished the image of the game."
