* Lib Dems in the European Parliament have voted for strict labelling of food containing Genetically Modified (GM) ingredients. Local campaigner/Euro-MP XY said "Consumers are entitled to know whether items on the supermarket shelves contain GM products or not, so they can choose." The new measures will also help those with allergies to see better what food contains.
