* Recycling old computer items like printer cartridges will be easier and cheaper in future, following a vote by the European Parliament. Legislation brought forward by Lib Dem Euro-MP Nick Clegg means that in future companies making printer cartridges will no longer be able to fix them so that they cannot be recycled. This means customers will pay less – and increased recycling will help the environment.
